Here is a couple of photos I took up in the beautiful Blue Mountains. Got real lucky with the weather and got an incredibly clear & crisp day. A real breath taking place to see.
Winter here in Sydney isn't anything close to the winters I'm used to back home in England, however it has still been pretty coldsome. You just gotta take the good with the bad, the good being the stunning sunsets over this season. Sights like this make you forget about the cold pretty quickly. These moments when the light is like this don't last so long, but this one will last forever.
Whether it's a short drive to some place close by or weeks of touring, being on the road is always an adventure. A lyric that I always think of from a song by a band called The Dead Weather is "He who hits the road is the one who lives". Get out there and do it.
Andy is a friend of mine here in Manly, drinking & skating buddy. He's a real fun dude to be around in any scenario. His skate style is very surf influenced but he's still got a million tricks to toy around with. Heres a sequence I shot of him a couple weeks back doing a long, super fast tail slide with both feet on the tail... it was scary to watch!
