On The Seaside

Some portraits I shot of Chloe Dale, not the greatest time of year for the beach by any means, but the British seaside in the the dead of winter holds a lot of character. I took the photos using lots of different contrasts & lighting, and wound up liking lots for different reasons so ended up using all these. Chloe looks great in all of them, rad winter beach wear. Real fun shooting her.
You will also find Chloe in Dan Rutter's newest "Rindhouse" movie projects "Rutter Of Redneck Woods" & "Jack The Butcher". If you love the Grindhouse cinema of the 70's & 80's, you will love these short movies which pay tribute to it. Splatter, Comedy, & just plain twisted. An awesome piece of work, I cant wait for the next one.

Rockin like a Rattle Cat

Here's a photo I almost forgot I took, one of my top Sydney homies, Andy White, rockin out by the speaker stack at the Rattle Cat gig at the Boat Shed in November.
Miss you bro! Keep on keepin on!

Prickly thorns, sweetly worn

The harsher and more jagged side of the woods, covered in snow. Again a contrast I really like the look of.

Into the sun we climb

This winter has been incredibly cold so far, every time the sun shows itself I find myself looking at it, longing for summertime. Hopefully spring isn't to far away. Although the cold sucks, the contrast of the sun on the snow is a beautiful thing. Here are a couple of shots I got one afternoon whilst the light was pretty strange. More to come soon.
